Colorado’s rocking reggae duo Stylie has released a cover of Bob Marley’s “Duppy Conqueror” with a modern reggae twist. This song is a classic and we love Stylie’s unique take. Dailyreggae.com caught up with Stylie’s G Money to learn about their inspiration to release a Stylie version of the song.

Håle' and Josh Heinrichs deliver island vibes in the chill new song, “Just Cool”. We have been singing along to this big-time new single all morning. It’s our first time listening to Håle' and we love his lyrics and voice. Just Cool features an irie bass line, and Håle' and Josh deliver silky smooth vocals. The song was released by Håle' Records.

Jamaica’s EarthKry kicks off the band’s See You Again Tour tomorrow at the Dallas Reggae Festival! The tour is a great opportunity to see this incredible reggae band. The 17 show tour will hit cities in Texas, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New York, North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, Colorado, and California. We love EarthKry’s roots rock reggae sound and irie songs.

Kirsty Rock has released a beautiful tribute to her dad in the new single, The Feeling. The Feeling showcases Kirsty’s stunning voice and has us super excited for her full album due out this May via Easy Star Records.

Last year Jamaican musician, Micah Shemaiah released a beautiful album titled Still and we’ve been jamming to the 12 track release all week! We love Micah’s positive message of stillness and love. Shemaiah teamed with Zion High Productions to bring these new roots reggae tunes to life. When we listen to Still we feel the stillness and can reflect in peace.

Joe Samba is an amazing musician who exudes positivity. We love how he skillfully tells stories blending reggae, rock, ska and pop, with thoughtful lyrics, and songwriting. We are grooving to Joe’s latest single, Losing It, featuring The Elovaters. Released via LAW Records, Samba teamed with The Elovaters’ Jackson Wetherbee and we love the way the song makes us feel after a long day. Losing It is one of the singles that will be featured on Samba’s upcoming album, Far From Forever, due out on LAW Records on June 17, 2022.

SOJA’s impact on the reggae music genre is huge, and the band continues to create beautiful music. Beauty In The Silence is an outstanding album, and if you haven’t listened to it from start to finish, we recommend you do it soon!

DMP and Iyaz’s new song, Long Way Home, is straight fire! DMP is short for Doorman’s Project, an incredible band from the Solomon Islands. The single will be one of the featured tracks on DMP’s upcoming album to be released by Ineffable Records. Long Way Home features a beautiful reggae riddim, and the song has such a positive message. Sometimes we all need a break and taking the long way home can help give us time to think. DMP and Iyaz showcase wonderful vocals in this love song.

When you think of Cali Roots you think of the ultimate reggae weekend. We first attended Cali Roots in 2012 and it’s the type of life-changing musical experience that built our pride as reggae fans even more. And having the chance to see Rebelution play at Cali Roots will always be one of the most incredible live music experiences we’ve ever witnessed. Rebelution first headlined Cali Roots in 2011 and the band’s consistent development and dedication are so fun to watch. A new wave is coming from the Northeastern ocean town of Gloucester, Massachusetts in the form of reggae rock band Over the Bridge. Having been steadily making a name for themselves over the past few years, the band has raised their self-described brand of "Feel Good Music" to a new level with their debut full-length release. The tracks on "Over the Bridge" are well crafted from both a songwriting and production perspective, with reggae being the primary ingredient that is then complemented by flavors of rock, folk, hip-hop, and New England spice. Members Mike Forgette and Dave Campbell have been hard at work since their first show in 2014, and their new album is proof that it is all paying off.

Space Kamp has elevated its sound and we are loving the psychedelic reggae hip-hop duo’s new single AIR featuring Jessica Lamb. AIR features a groovy riddim that truly makes you feel like you’ve transported into a new galaxy. It’s been fun watching Space Kamp’s artistic growth and hustle. AIR is a song that we’d love to see Space Kamp perform at an upcoming show!

For most fans of reggae music, the genre is what helps us get through a bad day alright, a normal day with happiness, and a great day with the utmost joy. In the Bumpin Uglies new single, “Make It Through The Day”, released by Ineffable Records, singer Brandon Hardesty touches on the little things throughout his day that help make it a good one. It's small bits of love and silver linings that make life beautiful, and Brandon describes this wonderfully and in a way that brings us into his world.
