Cumbancha unites the beautiful music of Jamaica and Cuba in the release of “Mista Savona Presents Havana Meets Kingston Part 2”. While listening to the 15 track album, you’ll hear reggae, salsa, dancehall, and timba connected in dance friendly songs. The album follows up 2017’s “Havana Meets Kingston”.

The story of how the original album was formed is really cool. Jake Savona (Mista Savona) was inspired to merge the musical genres after a 2014 visit to Cuba. Following a grant from the Australian Council, Savona brought together legendary Jamaican artists like Sly & Robbie and Winston “Bopee” Bowen to create music with Cuba’s best musicians at EGREM.

The new album features talented artists including Clinton Fearon, Micah Shemaiah, Randy Valentine, Cimafunk, and Changuito.

Destiny” by Mista Savona, Havana Meets Kingston, and Micah Shemaiah is the Daily Reggae Song of the Day.
