5 must-see artists debuting at Cali Roots 2023

A trip to Cali Roots is the perfect gift for any reggae lover! This year’s lineup looks so irie, and has some new artists debuting at the festival that are must-see! Here is a list of five artists that you’ll love seeing for the first time at the festival.

Wu-Tang: Although not a reggae act, Wu-Tang is going to bring so many good vibes, and will be a great palate cleanser during the reggae-filled weekend. What a legendary and epic hip hop group to see play live!

Gentleman: German reggae superstar, Gentleman will bring his smooth vocals and high energy performance to Monterey. Turn up his track, “Devam”. It’s a vibe!

L.A.B.: New Zealand’s L.A.B. plays such catchy music that will have you grooving all set long. Check out their song, “Mr Reggae”.

Shaggy: The reggae legend doesn’t need an introduction! Shaggy’s act is for sure going to be fire!

Kolohe Kai: Hawaii’s Kolohe Kai brings some of the smoothest vocals in the scene and the island vibes will spread throughout the festival during his set.
