Congratulations to Stick Figure’s “Wisdom Tour” for being named the 2023 Daily Reggae Tour of the Year! The reggae rockers followed up their epic 2022 “Wisdom” album with an incredible national run with Pepper and The Elovaters and proved once again they are one of the most talented bands in the world!

2023 was a massive year for live music and let’s be honest, it’s hard to beat a reggae concert! Reggae artists and bands toured the world playing to both sold out venues and new growing fan bases. Here are five national reggae tours that stood out to us in 2023.

Plan your winter getaway to the Lake Tahoe Winter Reggae Festival. The two day festival is set for February 17 - 18, 2024 and features reggae superstars like Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley, Stephen Marley, Stick Figure, Collie Buddz, and The Movement.

The Summertime 2023 Tour featuring The Movement, Atmosphere, Slightly Stoopid and Sublime with Rome strolled through Texas for a few stops, making its final Lone Star State appearance in Dallas at the Toyota Music Factory on July 23, 2023. Jeremey Morgan, of Highly Decent Photography, is back with part 4 and the final recap of the event. Make sure to catch the reviews and galleries for all the artists from that night!

See your favorite bands like Pepper, Tribal Seeds, Fortunate Youth and HIRIE in San Diego at Mission Bayfest 2023. The two day festival is running September 29th and 30th and has a stellar lineup!

J Boog and Cali P inspire us to let loose and enjoy “Festival” season in a new track. The irie single released by Oneness Records is an absolute vibe, and will have you dancing in a matter of seconds!

Turn up at the Mammoth Reggae Festival 2023 with big time reggae artists like Eli Mac, The Elovaters and Arise Roots. The 13th Annual Mammoth Reggae Festival will be held July 21 - 23, 2023 and feature top talent reggae musicians like Pacific Dub, Inna Vision, Eureka Sound, and Kyle Smith.

Ineffable Live, the live music arm of Ineffable Music, will celebrate the first anniversary of Ventura Music Hall with a jamming Thievery Corporation show on March 11. Thievery was one of the first shows to perform at the venue, so it’s rad to hear they are returning and to see all the success of the gorgeous venue!

Florida Groves 2023 has an amazing lineup including Thievery Corporation, Protoje, Inner Circle, Collie Buddz, and Sierra Lane. The Orlando-based music festival produced by Dab Day Productions will be held April 15th and April 16th and will certainly bring so many good vibes!

Shwayze and Audic Empire performed a rocking show on Thursday at Dallas’ Deep Ellum Art Co. The show was a stop on Audic Empire’s “Exes in Texas” tour, and Jeremy Morgan (Highly Decent Photography) was on the ground capturing these amazing moments from the night!

Nattali Rize has begun releasing tour dates for her upcoming “2023 Liberate Tour” featuring Kumar and Minori. The tour begins in April and currently has stops scheduled in Colorado, Washington, Oregon, California, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, and more.

Trevor Hall and Gone Gone Beyond are teaming up in the upcoming 2 Oceans Tour. We’ve been huge fans of Trevor Hall for many years. We first saw him play at The Independent in San Francisco, and it’s been fun seeing his growth as an artist. Trevor blends folk and rock with reggae influence, and his live shows are incredibly soulful.

Earlier today, Sister Carol brought incredible energy in her Truckee Reggae Fest 2022 set! Our photo editor, John Rouse is on-site at the two day festival and took this photo of the reggae legend!

Grab tickets to Blvk H3ro’s first US Tour to see one of reggae’s rising stars! Blvk H3ro (pronounced Black Hero) is an extremely talented Jamaican singer-songwriter who has been consistently putting out big tunes! The tour will reach both the West Coast and East Coast!

Tribal Seeds had an incredible Cali Roots 2022 set! Hopefully Cali Roots posts the band’s show on their YouTube page soon! John Rouse took this cool photo of Hector Roots Lewis and Suckarie jamming. Last night, Mike Love and Dub Inc shared a magical set at Berkeley’s Cornerstone. The show was definitely up there with one of the best concerts I’ve ever been to! Dub Inc started the night with their feel good and interactive set that inspired the audience to dance and groove. The France-based band have a special ability to connect with audiences and we loved feeling their passion. Speaking of passion, when you think of Mike Love, you think of one of the most passionate musicians in reggae music today. Mike’s set featuring his full Full Circle band was like a reggae shredding clinic. Mike’s guitar skills are absolutely legendary and his deep song catalog was so nicely showcased.
