Free yourself from things holding you back with Ethan Tucker’s empowering song, “Reno”. Tucker wrote the thought provoking track while on a trip in Reno, and it sends a beautiful reminder to stay inspired and to lean into growth. The single was released by High Point Music, and profiles Tucker’s skillful acoustic guitar and beautiful voice.

This is such a jam of a song, and I love its energy and message to keep your head up. The track was released by Controlled Substance Sound Labs and is the latest single from Katastro’s final album, Until The End of Time, coming this fall.

Congratulations to Stephen Marley for being named the 2023 Daily Reggae Artist of the Year! National tours and his best album yet, “Old Soul” made 2023 a stand out year for Marley and his soulful roots rock reggae music.

Slightly Stoopid is back and they brought their friends Stick Figure and Pepper! The legends came together for the new song ‘Got Me On The Run’. The track immediately draws you in with a classic Stoopid horn line and riddim, and the catchy flow is made that much better by the appearances by Stick and Pepper.

Album Review: Bumpin Uglies strips it all off with “Underdog: The Acoustic Sessions”, a carefully curated collection of BU past favorites plucked from albums across its discography, supplemented by a handful of new recordings to get lost in for the first time.

Push evil away with Boostive’s “Wickedness” ft. Screechy Dan and Kava Jah. Boostive recently released this irie track on Stoopid Records and it’s a jam! I am especially vibing with the song’s dub filled bass line and the punchy horn section.

The Summertime 2023 Tour featuring The Movement, Atmosphere, Slightly Stoopid and Sublime with Rome strolled through Texas for a few stops, making its final Lone Star State appearance in Dallas at the Toyota Music Factory on July 23, 2023. Jeremey Morgan, of Highly Decent Photography, is back with part 4 and the final recap of the event. Make sure to catch the reviews and galleries for all the artists from that night!

Photo Recap: The smoking skulls inflated on each side of the stage as the crowd generated some noise to show support for what was about to happen on stage. Based out of Ocean Beach, Kyle, Miles and the crew of Slightly Stoopid soon appeared to a standing ovation from the audience. Their set was still during the daylight in an open amphitheater, so the light show was not as impressive as it usually is, but you could tell there was a lot going on.

Gallery: Summertime 2023 Show Recap. Atmosphere frontman, Slug, strolled out from stage right as the LED wall lit up on Ant’s soundlab station with swirls of orange, yellow and red patterns. The lyrics started flowing and their set was underway.
