This is the third single from Unified Highway’s new music (following their double release of “Taking My Time” and “Pay No Mind”) and while covering Cake’s 1998 hit wasn’t on my bingo card, it is a welcome addition and fantastic cover.

Eric Rachmany has combined two of his projects, Rebelution and Unified Highway, with a brand new, two-track release. For those unfamiliar, Unified Highway is the collaborative side project created by the Rebelution frontman and DJ AMPliveand. 2023 was a massive year for live music and let’s be honest, it’s hard to beat a reggae concert! Reggae artists and bands toured the world playing to both sold out venues and new growing fan bases. Here are five national reggae tours that stood out to us in 2023.

This weekend’s Reggae Rise Up Maryland is going to bring so many positive vibes! The three day music festival features fan favorites like Rebelution, Pepper, Stick Figure, Koffee, Iration, Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley, Citizen Cope, and those are only the headliners!

The Expendables and Pepper’s Bret Bollinger have teamed up in the jam, “Do Me”. This isone of my favorite reggae rock singles of the year, and has me some pumped the band’s new album coming out soon!

Kyle Ahern takes us on a journey to “Better Days” in the singer-songwriter’s new single. This is a classic Ahern track showcasing his amazing reggae rock guitar chops and thoughtful lyrics.

Can’t make it to Coachella? Get your Joshua Tree fix with Gede’s “Where Two Deserts Meet”. Armed with a laptop, poncho, and Splice, Gede headed out to Joshua Tree to create an album that captured the feeling invoked by the awe-inspiring landscape. Over the course of 4 days, this instrumental album was created.
