Song of the Week: “Taking My Time” with Rebelution and Unified Highway

Eric Rachmany has combined two of his projects, Rebelution and Unified Highway, with a brand new, two-track release.

For those unfamiliar, Unified Highway is the collaborative side project created by the Rebelution frontman and DJ Amp Live.

The collab opens new musical doors and both “Taking My Time” and “Pay No Mind” push Rebelution’s reggae rock sound into more experimental territory.

While either song is worthy of SOTW, we chose “Taking My Time” for its beautiful while slightly dark melodies.
