The new five track EP, “D’ Rootsman” gives a great glimpse into Hector Roots Lewis’ talent and energy. Lewis had a major year with the EP, released by Cre8ive Tribe / Ineffable Records, and his collaboration with Tribal Seeds.

Fresh off his 2002 Grammy nomination for Reggae Album of the Year, Gramps Morgan’s new EP, “Deeper” is yet another reminder that Morgan is one of the best vocalists across all musicals genres. The EP highlights the artist’s unbelievable voice over six gorgeous acoustic tracks. Similar to “Positive Vibration”, these new songs blend reggae and pop with a hint of country music.

Virginia-based band Last Resort showcase their jamming style of reggae rock infused with dub in the new EP, “Other Side Of The World”. The five track EP is super rad and portrays the band’s talented musicianship. This is a great EP to throw on during any time of day, especially as you soak in sun and relaxation.

One of the things we love about the global reggae music scene and covering it at Daily Reggae is that we are constantly on the hunt to discover new music, and the amount of talent on the reggae scene is incredible! Last year, we connected with Southern California’s Justin Vidal, a talented multi-instrumentalist, who has released a rocking new EP titled, “Love What You Have”. We are absolutely loving this four track EP that has Vidal showing us a glimpse into his heart and a strong view into his talent as a musician.

When you’re inspired to listen to music, different vibes come to mind. Sometimes you look for a chill laid back sound. Other times, you look for an inspirational message. And sometimes you look to hear a song that makes your move your head up and down while a guitar completely shreds. Ballyhoo! and Kash’d Out absolutely shred our faces off in “The Front Porch”. We love hearing these two incredible bands collaborating on the title track of Ballyhoo!’s fun new EP, “The Front Porch”.

Bobby Hustle and Asha D have teamed up in a new EP, The Right Place, and the vibe is irie! Bobby has definitely earned the hustle in his name and continues to consistently drop great music. The Right Place is a six-track EP that showcases Bobby Hustle’s songwriting and heart.

LawGiver the Kingson dropped an irie EP earlier this year called The Kingson from Kingston and we are feeling the vibes. Listening to the album was our first exposure to the Jamaican artist and we appreciate his incredible vocals and spirited messages. The album showcases some great features including Benks Ez Boy, Yaksta, and Half Pint.

Through The Roots has dropped the Departure Remix EP featuring six songs off the band’s irie 2020, album, Departure. The EP features cool remixes of fan favorites like At Peace, My Girl, and Rollin’. Artists like Amp Live, Green Lion Crew, squeeda, and Coast Club jumped on the EP to bring fresh sounds to the tracks.

Our last album review was of Boston heavy-hitters The Elovaters, so it's only fitting we follow it up with a review of the stellar new EP from Salem, New Hampshire's rising star Joe Sambo. Maybe it's snow caused daydreams of the beach, or just something about the deep rooted culture of the northeast; whatever the case may be the reggae artists of New England are putting the region on the map for reggae fans everywhere.

In her song Dream Come True, Ana Vee sings, “You bring the sunshine on cloudy days” and her music does exactly that. We love the Hawaiin singer’s self-titled EP, Ana Vee, released in June 2021. Take a trip to the islands by listening to the five-song EP, and you’ll love her voice, catchy melodies, and the island reggae vibes.

José Picazo inspires change for the better in his new Who We Are EP. The former Pacific Roots singer’s passion for reggae music motivates him to create new music and we are absolutely vibing to his new EP that showcases his incredible songwriting and vocals.
