Nairobi’s Man Wazimu has released a new love song called Rock Mi. This is our first time listening to Man Wazimu’s music and his delivery is really chill to listen to over the reggae riddim.

The singer reached out to Dailyreggae.com and shared his musical inspiration: “Having been inspired by Hardstone the strict Seventh Day Adventist, Man Wazimu has been releasing music that is conscious, witty and relatable.” The press release added, “Born Peter Wagany, Man Wazimu ’Virgin Man’ ‘Unknown Veteran’ aka ‘Da present’ is a Nairobi-based Reggae artist with a unique voice and style. Coming from Mukuru Kwa njenga Slums where talent is plenty but resources are scarce, getting into the music industry is quite a tall order.”

It’s wonderful to have the chance to listen to Man Wazimu’s reggae music from Nairobi. Reggae is truly global!

Man Wazimu also released a music video for the song. Check it out here!

Rock Mi is the Daily Reggae Song of the Day.
