Joss Jaffe takes us on a trip from the Sun, Mountain, to the Sea in his wonderful new album!

The talented and experienced musician and singer Joss Jaffe released his brand new album Sun Mountain Sea and we are loving the sound that he has created!

Joss has gained notoriety by combining his love for reggae and dub with his knowledge of Indian Classical music. His lyricism reflects his conscience message and mentality, and his musical style delivers it perfectly.

Listening through the album is a wonderful experience as Joss has been able to combine his different musical influences with a wide range of instruments into a sound that is both cohesive and meditative. On the track "Reverie" Joss uses world percussion, jazzy horn lines, beautiful synths, and a variety of stringed instruments to create a jamming beat with a hint of euphoria.

His Reggae influences shine through on tracks like "Weather" and "Want You".

We especially enjoy the latter, which features a breezy reggae rhythm with catchy, pop-influenced vocal melody lines and spacey keyboards.

Joss teamed up with DJ Taz Rashid on the song "Inner Way". His talent as a guitarist is clear on this tune and where he plays catchy rhythm guitar parts drenched in reverb and delay while playing funky guitar lead riffs that work perfectly with his vocals. Rashid lays down a vibing beat that gives the song a wonderful upbeat and danceable sound.

All in all "Sun Mountain Sea" is a very pleasant listening experience that will surely bring a smile to your face!
