Irie Yute Tapes’ “Awaking Riddim” is off to a hot start with jamming singles from Rik Jam, Willz and Jah Love.
I love listening to riddim projects and when Irie Yute Tapes’ Phillip McFarlane is behind a track’s production and vision, you know it’s going to be innovative and unbelievably good.
It’s so fun listening to the intricate riddim, and each of the artist’s creativity is shown through Rik Jam’s “Hail The King”, Willz’s “Back Stabbers”, and Jah Love’s, “El Viaje”. Not only do the single showcase the artists’ talent, the project underscores reggae’s global reach and power. Rik Jam and McFarlane hail from Jamica, Willz from Hawai’i and Jah Love from Chile/Peru.
