“In Between Dub” is the exciting new Jack Johnson album due out in June!

The album will bring together some of Johnson’s favorite recordings and it will be super fun hearing fan favorites with a dub spin.

Johnson’s Brushfire Records and Republic Records are teaming on the album’s release and I’m loving the first single, “Traffic In The Sky”, which pairs Johnson and the late Lee “Scratch” Perry.

The album has been in creation for three years, and it’s so cool to hear Johnson collaborating with the legendary Perry.

Reflecting on the collaboration, Johnson said in a release, “Growing up in Hawai’i with reggae music always on the radio, Lee “Scratch” Perry was a living Legend. When I found out he was up for remixing a few of my songs I was blown away. The remixes evolved and he ended up adding his voice to my songs. It was like he had done a magic trick to the music. I will be forever grateful for the time, love, and energy that Lee “Scratch” Perry put into this project.”
