Get over your breakup by blasting Artikal Sound System’s new song, You’re an Asshole

Breakups are rough. Plain and simple. No one enjoys the process of getting over an ex, but sometimes you need an anthem to help you move on. Enter Artikal Sound System’s catchy new song, You’re an Asshole. The South Florida-based band recently released a cool new music video for the single, which you should check out, especially if you’re still dwelling on the past.

In a release sent to Dailyreggae.com, Artikal Sound System vocalist, Logan Rex said, “The day I started writing this song I had met up for coffee with this guy I had dated for nearly ten years. I was sort of reflecting on everything he and I had been through together and was getting pretty fired up about it. The hook and main melody just started coming out while I was singing in the shower. I got over to Chris Montague’s house as soon as I could to finish it up and the boy’s parts seemed to write themselves after that. This one felt pretty effortless because it felt like I was just jotting down feelings in my diary. As far as naming the song, I think most people who’ve met my ex would feel like it’s a pretty fitting title.”

Respect! It’s awesome when we hear a song like this one made in the heat of emotions, and to hear Logan was able to turn a negative into something awesome like this song. You’re an Asshole was released by Controlled Substance Sound Labs.
