Bumpin Uglies are amongst the best bands in reggae rock today and I applaud them for this innovative album. Appreciate this album, turn it up loud and know that the band is just getting started with so many powerful songs ahead. Lyrics over everything!

Album Review: Bumpin Uglies strips it all off with “Underdog: The Acoustic Sessions”, a carefully curated collection of BU past favorites plucked from albums across its discography, supplemented by a handful of new recordings to get lost in for the first time.

Push evil away with Boostive’s “Wickedness” ft. Screechy Dan and Kava Jah. Boostive recently released this irie track on Stoopid Records and it’s a jam! I am especially vibing with the song’s dub filled bass line and the punchy horn section.

Slow down and sing along to Bumpin Uglies “Spinning Plates”. This is such a rad song and another example of the band’s frontman Brandon Hardesty putting out some of the most thoughtful and all around fun music in the reggae rock scene.

There’s few releases I look forward to more than DENM and Landon McNamara. The first track from the EP, “Wild Trip” was chosen as one of the best tracks of 2022! The full EP is finally out and Slum Beach Posse Vol. 1 does not disappoint.
