Meta & The Cornerstones recently released a powerful new song called Breeze. The band blends roots reggae, afropop, hip hop, rock and soul. Breeze is the first single from the band’s album DIA, which is due out later this year.

In an email Dailyreggae.com received from Press Junkie PR, the band’s frontman Meta Dia said, “Breeze, for me, is peace, which clears the air, eliminates suffocation and keeps the universe breathing. It also represents gentle and swift progress.”

Meta Dia went on to say, “Breeze was inspired by the ‘undocumented’ citizens of the world, struggling on the borders to find freedom and a new beginning. It is a calling for togetherness and forgiveness. Just like the breeze.

The song was recorded at Real World Studios and has a cool music video.

Meta Dia shows off his incredible vocals and the song shares an important message.

Breeze is the Daily Reggae Song of the Day.
