Daily Reggae Album Review: The Dualers brighten our days with “Voices from the Sun”

The Dualers’ new album “Voices from the Sun” is a brilliant piece of art. The band will brighten your days with this gem of a record blending reggae, ska and rock in such a cool way. The 14 track record brings nearly an hour of new music. The album has the old school reggae feel we love with thoughtful but simple lyrics, outstanding musicianship and an all around good time.

Sunny Days” highlights the band’s amazing pace, singing, horns and guitar. The band has to jam this one at their shows and an acoustic version would be so cool to hear someday. It’s an impressive song and a great way to cool down the pace while setting the album’s tone.

The song “Got That Smile” is a classic reggae love song and once again mixes old school with a vibrant and fresh sound. The Dualers write music that you can feel and also relate to. This is one of our favorites on the album.

In reggae, the horn section and bass are crucial to setting the tone and groove and you totally feel those good vibes in “Mr Penniless”.

Got That Smile” by The Dualers is the Daily Reggae Song of the Day.
