Daily Reggae Album Review: Surfer Girl’s unique brand of reggae rock and pop on full display in “Sunrise”

Surfer Girl is a talented reggae rocker with an ability to write fun and catchy pop songs. His unique brand is on full display in his album, “Sunrise” released earlier this year by Ineffable Records.
As you stretch and start your day turn on the album’s title track, “Sunrise” a romantic track highlighting Carter Reeves’ voice and laid back reggae guitar. Surfer Girl and The Elovaters keep it real and get you in the mood for some laid back vibes.
Surfer Girl picks up the pace in “Five Temptations” a track featuring a super fun melody and guitar hook. I like it’s message about keeping an open mind.
When Shwayze jumps on a track, you know it’s going to vibe. “Doghouse” is a fun song and has one of my favorite choruses on the album. The song is a great blend of reggae, rock, pop and hip hop coming together!
Surfer Girl hits his sweet spot in “Evil” and shows why he’s an artist on the rise. This song absolutely deserves some radio play asap! It’s so groovy and the message importantly pushes evil away to focus on love.
