The Late Ones connect conscious reggae and hip hop and we are loving the group’s latest feel-good jam, Feeling Myself. The single follows up the irie single, Fake Reggae, also released this year. The Late Ones are planning to release their debut studio album, The Fourth Quarter, via Easy Star Records this October.

The Late Ones formed in Laie, Hawaii and are based in Gardena, California. According to a press release, Feeling Myself “embodies empowerment and confidence given to us daily by a higher power.”

In the release The Late Ones said, “The album has a couple jams you’ve probably heard and some new ones that will blow you back to the Bible or the ‘90s, lol! So lace up those J’s because it’s crunch time and The Late Ones are on the line!”

The convergence of reggae and hip hop is emerging and The Late Ones are creating a unique swim lane for reggae music. We cannot wait to hear their full album!

Feeling Myself by The Late Ones is the Daily Reggae Song of the Day.
