2023 was a year full of amazing dub led and dub influenced albums and had us fans jamming along from dusk till dawn! Here are our five favorite dub albums of the year.

Jack Johnson: In Between Dub: In Between Dub” is a collection of some of Johnson’s most endeared tracks plucked from his extensive discography, masterfully mixed and blended by a select few of dub’s best artist’s – Subatomic Sound System, Scientist, Dennis Bovell, Nightmares On Wax, Mad Professor, Yaadcore, and the late, great Lee “Scratch” Perry are all responsible for whipping up this fresh new wave of flavor for your ears to surf on this summer.
Gentleman’s Dub Club: On A Mission: Gentleman’s Dub Club takes us on a journey of the ups and downs of life and love in “On A Mission” and the album provides a healing energy. These new songs will be super fun to hear during the band’s live sets and absolutely deserve international radio play!
Giant Panda Guerrilla Dub Squad: Love in Time: New York’s own, Giant Panda Guerilla Dub Squad, has been hard at work putting together some new music, pairing up with some unmistakable voices in a more collaborative approach to their craft (something a bit different for the dubby-roots masters).
Arise Roots: Dubways: The crispness, energy and reggae meets dub aspects of Arise Roots’ LP are amazing, and bring you a rad live feel. Dubways is an all around peaceful experience that is a must-listen for reggae and dub fans!
