Daily Reggae recently caught up with talented reggae artist Keznamdi, just in time for his new single “Pressure”.

We are loving your new tune “Pressure” and it’s message about conquering our obstacles. What inspired you to create this song and what do you want fans to feel?

I want people to rely on themselves but also demand more from our leaders. And also wake up, don’t be too busy in life to deal with the real issues and flaws in the system. This is certainly not a time to be passive!!!

How has your summer been going and what can you tell us about the new music that you’re working up?

I stopped touring for about a year and a half to go Off Grid and make music, so let’s just say i been waiting for this moment to be able to share what I’ve been working on!!!

Have you collaborated with any new artists recently and what was the experience like?

Ye I’ve been doing a ton of works producing and writing for me and for other people but i project that stood out for me was working on Rapsody’s album.

Been a big fan of her music for some time now and being able to work on a song together was very special for me and the song was special too, Never enough by Rapsody ft Keznamdi produced by Platinum producer Major Seven!!!

As an artist, how do you balance creating new music and performing live shows? What was a recent special live set that you performed that sticks with you?

Well Covid was the first time being forced to stop my regular year long touring schedule all around the world. It was a time i got to shift my focus to less Rigid touring schedule and more of a rigid recording schedule.

But I haven’t performed in a year and half so im yearning to go connect with the people that connect with this music.

Are you open to collaborating with more artists in the future? If so, what is the best way for them to connect and work with you?

Well when it comes to music and especially collaborating I try to make things happen naturally because it takes a lot of work to get a song heard so the genuineness and passion has to be there. But the easiest way is making a very inspiring song that gets my creative juices flowing right away!!!
