Sublime With Rome’s final LP is perfect and highlights Rome Ramirez’s extraordinary talent

Sublime With Rome kicks off its final LP with the super smooth track, “Cool & Collected” featuring Slightly Stoopid.

I love how the song starts with a verse showcasing Rome Ramirez’s patented vocals followed by an irie bass line drop that will have you jamming along.

The acoustic guitar comes in the lovely track, “Tangerine Skies”, a song that will surely bring peace of mind no matter what faces you. Sublime took a different form with Ramirez as the frontman, and this is another pitch perfect song that is a testament to Sublime With Rome’s legendary decade plus run together.

Battle Scar” is a return to Sublime’s punk rock roots with rocking electric guitar that will pump you up and makes me want to jump on a skateboard or bike to cruise around town!

Keep your head above water with “Who Do You Love”, a song that sends a beautiful reminder to slow down and reconnect with all the important people in your life even with constant change surrounding us. The track is another one that showcases Ramirez’s phenomenal talent as a vocalist and songwriter.

The horns drop, followed by electric guitar and an irie bass line in “Mind Control”. The song sends a message about chasing things that might not be the best fit. This album has so much depth and Sublime With Rome’s music shares inspiration to help us find strength.

Take a trip down memory lane with “Rewind”. This is one of the album’s stand out tracks and another song reminding listeners that Sublime With Rome has been releasing some of the best reggae rock over the last decade. You’ll love the all around vibe and nostalgic feeling of a return to simpler days.

Just when you think the LP can’t get any better the album’s final two tracks, “California Radio” and “Love Is Dangerous” hit so hard. Both of these tracks connect reggae, rock, punk and pop in an innovative sound that deserves to be celebrated. They also need some serious radio play!

Congratulations to Rome and the band on this gorgeous LP and a huge round of applause for so many successful years. Way to push the envelope, and thanks for bringing us so many memorable tracks and performances!
