Butter” is the smoothest Kash’d Out album to date and it’s an all around fun time.

The Florida rockers have that it factor and continue making some of the best reggae rock infused with pop music on the planet. The ten track album was released by LAW Records and builds on the band’s other amazing albums like “Undercover” and “The Hookup”.

Whenever Kash’d Out drops a new song or album you know it’s going to have incredible songwriting, super catchy music, and listening to it is automatically going to brighten your day.

The album kicks off with the irie track, “Highway Robbery” featuring a rocking hook and the late Andy Chaves of Katastro. This track has so much energy and is the perfect road trip song. I cannot wait to hear the band play this song live one day and it’s amazing they were able to team with Andy on it.

The band slows down the pace and the horns are in the spotlight on the jam, “Make a Little Love”. Kash’d Out truly has some of the best lyrics in reggae rock and I love the way lead singer, Greg Shields is able to transition so smoothly between a verse and chorus. Of course, Joey Brohawn is doing his thing with another irie bass line!

Just Friends” featuring Shwayze is a vibe! This is one of the best reggae rock and hip hop influenced tracks of the year, and I love the combo of Kash’d Out and Shwayze. Can they please make an EP together in the future?! The track talks about the benefits of an on and off again relationship!

When you come home from a day on the job, or trip, there truly is not anywhere better than heading to your home and favorite stoop. I love the way Kash’d Out brought this feeling to life in the track, “Back Deck”, which will have you singing along and whistling in about five seconds!

The keys are super cool in “Extrasensory”, another one of my favorite new Kash’d Out love songs that is perfect to jam any time of day while thinking of that special someone. Turn up Jackson Hauserman’s guitar solo loud!

The band teamed with label peers, Pepper, in “Dirty Mind” and Shields’ visual lyrics and catchy hook make this one the album’s standout tracks.

I respect Kash’d Out so much. It’s so fun watching their huge growth and the band’s hustle. It feels like they are on the road touring the country every other week, and this commitment to their fans and music has made them one of the best reggae bands out there. “I Think You Like It” closes out the album and leaves me wanting even more new Kash’d Out music. In the meantime, I’ll be playing this album often!
