“Run It Back” With Seven Suns for Summer’s last Song of the Week. The Hawaiian band ponders moving on or giving past relationships one more try, which we found fitting to close out summer over the Labor Day holiday weekend. The track is fun, with beautiful melodies and a hint of melancholy, all wrapped in their island/reggae/country sound.

Find your next open door with the inspiring tune “Never Give Up” by Ras Fraser Jr. and Inna Vision. This is one of my favorite singles of the year and I love the song’s all around vibe, message about never giving up even when obstacles face us, and the jamming riddim.

Remember there is no place like home with Angelica Mava’s “Coming Home”. Mava has an unbelievable voice, and I love this track’s irie riddim and sentiment about returning home from a journey.

Mortimer reflects on race and suffering with “Bruises” Ft. Kabaka Pyramid & Lila Iké. In a post Mortimer says "Blood isn’t skin color, race or status. When we bleed, we all bleed red. My new single “Bruises” Ft. Kabaka Pyramid and Lila Iké speaks to the pain and suffering we endure as a people, because somewhere along the line, some of us held an idea of superiority to another human being."

Get any party’s dance floor packed with Sean Paul’s “Bring It”. Paul does it yet again with another reggae meets dance hall single that will have you living your best life!

Find strength through love with Eureka Sound’s “Kingdoms” ft. The Steppas. The California-based reggae band is so talented and this track showcases their top tier roots reggae sound.

Dance the night away with “Our Favorite Song” by Katastro. This is an absolutely incredible song showcasing Katastro’s genre blending sound, and the talent of the late Andy Chaves. The band continues to honor Chaves and they created the track with his original vocals.

Lean into the good with “Lead Me” by Spice and Ky-Mani Marley. I really love this song’s vibe and inspiring message to prioritize positive. Spice and Marley drop some fabulous vocals over a jamming riddim.

Over swirling guitars and a soothing melody, Joe and Mihali reflect on family and the sacrifices we make to provide for them. The song was released by LAW Records and was beautifully produced by Eric Krasno, most known for his guitar work with Soulive and Lettuce.
