Album Review: “Destiny” is the culmination of Alborosie’s dedication to his craft
Italian reggae superstar Alborosie has been dropping amazing tracks for decades and the singer-songwriter’s latest album, “Destiny” is the culmination of Alborosie’s dedication to his craft. In the 14 track album, Alborosie brilliantly shines light on important societal issues over a mix of top reggae, rock and dancehall riddims. The instrumentation in “Destiny” is superb and I especially love the use of horns, the vibing drum patterns, and listening to Alborosie’s creative and thoughtful lyrics.

San Diego-based artist, Skyler Lutes’ new album, “Never Leaving” is an absolute head banger! The album is a great reflection about happily following your dreams and staying true to yourself. You will definitely feel the heart that Lutes puts into his music.

Morgan Heritage’s new 21 song album, “The Homeland”, is a magnificent reggae music masterpiece. Throughout the album, you will smile, feel love and be taken by the band’s talent as storytellers. I decided to pick six of my favorite songs to reflect on in this review, but make sure to take to the time to dive into the album even deeper.

I really enjoyed the album’s vibe and appreciate Pasqua’s musicianship and production. It would be super fun to see these songs performed live and to hear a future collab album featuring artists singing along.

The upcoming Easy Star All-Stars album, “Ziggy Stardub” is putting a reggae spin on David Bowie’s classic, and wow does this sound incredible! The first single off the album, which is due out in April, is titled “Starman” featuring Maxi Priest, and it’s a vibe! The album will also bring dub into the mix.
The time is here to get excited for Marcus Gad’s upcoming album “Ready for Battle”
Easy Star Records will release the talented reggae musician Marcus Gad’s new album in February and the album’s title track, “Ready for Battle” inspires us to take action and care for the world we live in. The album follows up his 2021 album, “Brave New World” and we are so excited to listen to Gad’s new music!

Green Lion Crew’s star-studded “Riddim Full of Culture” is an impressive collection of top notch tracks featuring many of reggae’s brightest stars! The album has a mix of solo tracks along with riddims where two artists will put their unique spins creating separate songs. Green Lion Crew made up of Zeke Stern and Dana Knowles definitely brought production heat and made me a big fan of their work!

One Culture is an amazing Virginia Beach band bringing together the best of reggae, rock and dub. The band’s new album “Forward, Always” is inspiring in so many ways and I especially love the band’s thoughtful lyrics that transcend emotions and their impressive guitar playing throughout the record.

I’ve been listening to Iration for years and it’s inspiring to follow the band’s continued rise and consistent ability to release reggae, rock and pop blended music that brings fans an amazing sense of zen and happiness. The band’s new live album, “Backyard Sessions: Malibu Edition” shows off Iration’s togetherness, incredible songwriting and brings new life into fan favorite songs.
Daily Reggae Album Review: Feel true passion and love by taking in “Spirits Eat Music” by SunDub
SunDub proves they are one of reggae’s rising bands in the new album, “Spirits Eat Music”. Take the title track as an example. You’re immediately brought in by the horns, smooth reggae guitar and vocal star power of Joanna Teters. To me, the track is a reminder that we are surrounded by support systems and to keep an open mind and heart to the love that comes our way, especially in the form of music!
