Reggae Rock as smooth as “Butter”; Kash’d Out is set to release the band’s new album in June. The Florida reggae rockers truly release and play some of the smoothest jams in reggae today and I’ve been a huge fan of them ever since watching the band play a gig with Fortunate Youth and Mike Love several years back. The album will be released via LAW Records and drops on June 9!

Michael Sky has teamed with Milo Didactah in a new collaboration project, and their first lively single “Alive” has dropped. I’m really enjoying this heartfelt single and Sky’s amazing voice. I’ve been a big fan of his for several years now, and it’s cool to hear Didactah’s flow compliment Sky’s singing.

Excited to show the world what they’ve been working on, Lion Heights is back with a new, full length album titled False Reality for you to jam down on. Coming out of Austin, TX, the boys want to show you a new flavor of dubby goodness, and they’ve coined their own label for the music they enjoy to create; outlaw reggae. There’s so many satisfying layers to this collection, they’ve definitely hit a homerun with the making of this album.

The Elovaters continue their string of easy listening singles with the release of “M.I.A” The acoustic driven track gives a touch of country, with Nashville style piano and slide guitar, but longtime fans of The Elovaters will still clearly hear their recognizable sound. Hailing from Guinea-Bissau, Lisbon’s Kimi Djabaté is a talented artist that needs to be on your radar. Earlier this year, Djabaté released the beautiful album, “Dindin”, which is such an incredible listening experience. Djabaté is a guitarist, percussionist and also plays the balafón (African xylophone). His singing is very unique and peaceful.
