Talking Heads’ “Heaven” gets a reggae dub vibe take by Eddie Skuller.

This is such a beautiful song and Skuller teamed with a handful of incredible musicians including Victor Rice on production, backing vocals by Caz Gardiner, and guitar by Alex Tea to bring this cover to life.

Reflecting on the production, Rice said, “My first thought was of the Rastafarian Nyabinghi rhythm. Between that beat and the use of a gospel organ, I was able to create the spiritual vibe Skuller was looking for. Skuller’s voice has that ringing quality which makes it cut through the thickest of arrangements, that in itself is a pleasure for any producer.”
