The beauty of today’s reggae genre is there are so many talented artists around the world and they are all innovating in unique ways. At the same time, reggae boasts a unique spirit of collaboration and “Ocean of Truth”, the new 13 track album by One Culture and Mellodose is the perfect example of this in action.

One Culture is an amazing Virginia Beach band bringing together the best of reggae, rock and dub. The band’s new album “Forward, Always” is inspiring in so many ways and I especially love the band’s thoughtful lyrics that transcend emotions and their impressive guitar playing throughout the record.

One Culture and Mellodose have collaborated in the new song, Chameleon and we are feeling the song’s riddim and message. In a post on his YouTube page, Mellodose said, “This tune is about overcoming your demons & giving thanks daily.” Chameleon features a grooving bass line, gnarly guitar solo, and message of positivity.

One Culture has teamed up with E.N Young and inspire good vibes in their new single, World To Change. Change in the world is constant, but believing in a path of positivity is so crucial. We love the beautiful message that One Culture and E.N deliver in World To Change. The song features powerful lyrics and vocals, an irie riddim, and a dub vibe that has us playing this jam on repeat.
