Cali Roots released its amazing 2023 lineup featuring fan favorites like Rebelution, Stick Figure, Dirty Heads, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Shaggy, and Iration.

Dirty Heads, Bryce Vine, and Eric Wilson of Sublime’s new band, Spray Allen, will play San Diego’s Petco Park on June 4th. This will be an epic show that you do not want to miss! Bryce Vine will also perform a set of his epic brand of good vibes filled music.

Northern California reggae band, Thrive, has released a funky new song called Groove On. We are absolutely jamming to this song, and especially love the infectious guitar hook that makes you bounce your head to the groove. Dailyreggae.com spoke with Aaron Borowitz (lead guitar and vocals) and learned the song was inspired to be an anthem for the working class.

Fortunate Youth always brings the good vibes and the band has released the title track to its upcoming album, Good Times (Roll On). The song has a contagious reggae riddim, vibing guitar strum, and a positive message to inspire good times.

Live music is back in a major way, and if you’re looking for an epic time this weekend look no further than San Diego Bayfest. This year’s Bayfest, which will be held at San Diego’s Waterfront Park features an incredible reggae lineup including Dirty Heads, Sublime With Rome, Fortunate Youth, The Aggrolites, KBong, and DENM. Dailyreggae.com caught up with Mikey Beltran aka Mikey Beats, one of the festival’s three organizers, to hear about Bayfest’s inspiration, what attendees can expect, and San Diego’s rising role as the United States’ premiere reggae music destination.

The song has a super clean beat and pumping bass line. Bobby and Dread deliver smooth vocals on the song’s cool reggae and hip hop mix.
