December is here and that can only mean one thing, the return of the annual Daily Reggae Awards. Our editorial team as been busy making lists and comparing notes and we are ready to honor some of our favorite/biggest/most impactful reggae artists across subgenres.

2023 was a massive year for reggae music, and the power of reggae was strongly felt around the world. This year, we really connected with the pollination of reggae crossing musical genres. The trend has made even more people fall in love with reggae!

The numbers don’t lie. Stick Figure once again had a major year with the release of “Wisdom” and continued its streak of four consecutive years selling the most reggae albums after Bob Marley. Stick Figure’s influence is strongly felt across the scene and many up-and-coming artists are looking for ways to merge reggae, dub and rock following Stick Figure's influence. 

The Daily Reggae “Best Of” Awards are a look back at some of the best moments of 2022. From your favorite artists, best albums, biggest tracks, and memorable festivals, the reggae community is filled with talented people and artists. This is our humble selection. This year, we chose a winner representing the following categories.
