Space Kamp has us Waiting for Summer in new single with Butterfly Effect album in the works

Summer is inching closer, and Space Kamp is bringing the good vibes in its latest single Waiting for Summer, which is making us envision a sandy beach and warm sunny day. Space Kamp, made up of Oskee and Adoo, truly has a unique sound connecting reggae, hip hop, and rock music. It’s exciting to hear Space Kamp is also currently working on a new album called Butterfly Effect (BE).

Space Kamp’s single, Waiting for Summer, was released on April 2, 2021. According to a press release, Dailyreggae.com received from Press Junkie PR, “The east coasters, dreaming of warmer days, wrote the new song in the dead of winter.” The Pennsylvania-based duo worked with Rob the Viking on the song, who they worked with on their awesome album, Electric Lemonade. (Read our Artist Profile featuring Space Kamp to learn more about their collaboration with Rob).

In the release, Adoo said, “We wanted to release a song that gives everybody that summer feel a little early! We all tend to just feel better and stay on a higher vibration in the summer, being in the North East winter can get pretty grim. In some ways we are all Waiting for Summer.. We try to stay on that vibe all year round.”

Waiting for Summer will be on Space Kamp’s upcoming album, Butterfly Effect (BE). An exact release date is not set, but the duo plan to keep releasing music regularly with a tour to kick off soon.

Waiting for Summer is the Daily Reggae Song of the Day.
