This morning was our first time listening to Shandii’s music and we are vibing to her new album My Roots. The singer hailing from West London recently teamed up with the producers, Mafia & Fluxy, on the 12 track album. Shandii’s voice is beautiful and the tracks have real cool dub riddims.

A Musical Impact promo kit shared with Dailyreggae.com said, “An inspired Singer-Songwriter, born and bred in West London with a real passion and love for music, who creates and delivers heartfelt lyrics with an unforgettably distinctive vocal.
With quality Lovers Rock and Roots Reggae EP's under her belt (Lessons in Love/ Mas-Ski & My Roots/Mafia & Fluxy), she will be venturing into R&B, Soulful House & Soulful Jazz projects.”

The kit went on to say, “She has to date been blessed to work with 8 times Grammy nominated and Grammy award winners Black Uhuru (live European tour), award winning producers Mafia & Fluxy, twice Grammy nominated producer Bubblers Carlton Oguilvie (Nu Edge Music), IRD Dub Innovator award winners ARIWA, Mas-Ski Productions, Black Sovereign Records, SVE, Pearl Records and others. Shandi I presents a magnificent album entitled ‘My Roots’ directed and produced by the legendary duo of composers Mafia & Fluxy.”

The second song on the album, Cover Me, is the Daily Reggae Song of the Day.
