REVIEW: The Irie continue reggae rise with their incredibly catchy self-titled album

The Irie continue their reggae rise with the new incredibly catchy self-titled album. Wow, this album is so amazing! I love the Phoenix band’s unique ability to blend reggae, rock and pop, and their latest album will help you promptly get any party started!

Some bands have a unique ability to quickly grab a listener’s full attention and The Irie are just that! The album kicks off with the banger, “Everyday”, a masterclass in songwriting, production and good vibes. Guitarist and vocalist, George Ruiz drops such fun and feel good lyrics and vocals and I love the way Ruiz, drummer, Johnny Groove, and bassist, Marcus Mapes stay in sync. Their cohesion as a band allows them to bring such a clean pop sound to their smooth reggae rock.
