Poor Legacy’s new album, “Change” beautifully blends reggae, hip hop and a commitment to faith.

The unique band is putting their heart into every track they make and are based in Waterbury, Connecticut and Charlotte, North Carolina. The duo has set out on a mission to inspire real change and I really appreciate their motivational genre-crossing music.

Daily Reggae caught up with the bands’ frontman, Nailz to learn more about the band. Nailz said, “Popular music at times possesses no real message, content and is used widely as filler music. On a positive note, Poor Legacy’s creative ways of using instruments, wordplay and song arrangements takes you on a journey that will impact your life. Sometimes we need lyrics that speaks of grace, redemption, faith and love that can touch and mend hearts.”

Respect!

The band addresses real life issues and also honors its Christian faith throughout the LP. Nailz on mic, D Note showcases his skills on keys and E-Rhythm sets the tone on many tracks with clever and catchy drum patterns.
