Hawaiian musician Mafi showcases his beautiful voice over a peaceful acoustic guitar in his latest single, Fool for Love. Dailyreggae.com caught up with the talented vocalist to learn more about his passion for music.

“I’ve been writing songs since I was 13 years old, and always felt comfortable singing in front of the kava bowl. Fool for Love was written with one of my cousins while we were sitting around the kava over 15 years ago when I was living in Vegas. 8 a.m. and we were still mixing kava and listening to the Kekai Boyz song, One Night Stand. We wanted to write a song opposite that experience where the girl falls in love with me and I’m softly trying to tell her not to fall in love… It was just a one night stand.”

Mafi has released some really thoughtful island reggae tunes this year. You should also definitely check out his singles, She Don’t Love You Nomore, and Show You Love. The songs will mentally bring you to the islands and have you thinking of that special someone.

Fool for Love by Mafi is the Daily Reggae Song of the Day.
