Denver’s Giant Walking Robots recently dropped a really cool new song called Walk Away, and the band is releasing an upcoming album in June called Mountain Sessions, which we are pumped to listen to!

Dailyreggae.com caught up with Dave Halchak (guitar/vocals) to learn more about Walk Away and the new album. “The song was written during the 2020 lockdown when I was feeling really tired, scared, and frustrated with the situation we as American’s found ourselves in. I tried to not dwell on the negatives and that’s where the chorus comes in with the positivity of walking away from the current situation at hand.”

On the upcoming album’s recording process, Dave said, “The album was recorded in late 2020 when the band rented a mountain house, brought in a ton of recording equipment, gear, good food, and a goal to record some music we were working on at the time. This song is one of my current favorite Giant Walking Robots songs.”

We are totally digging the song and are excited to hear the full album soon!
