Stemming from Warwick, Rhode Island, Rival Roots has a really cool sound blending reggae, rock, and ska. If you have a lot on your mind, get your head right by grooving to Rival Roots’ new single, “One Door”. We are loving the song’s funky sound and the band’s rad guitars.

The song released by Oshun Records follows up the band’s other 2022 single, “Etched in Stone”, which is also an awesome listen. Both songs compliment the band’s creativity with the “Etched in Stone” featuring an irie bass line. The production on both songs are impressive and the lyrics are very thoughtful.

Rival Roots reflected on the creation of “One Door” in a post on the band’s Instagram page saying, “This was a lot of fun to record and we love playing it live! We hope the positive energy of the song lifts you up and reminds you that if you’re ever struggling to get through the day you’re not alone.”

One Door” by Rival Roots is the Daily Reggae Song of the Day.
