Fam Jam in Oceanside rocks Legacy Brewing Company with Josh Heinrichs, Eureka Sound, The Tones, and Dread Kennedy performances

On Saturday, Fam Jam rocked Legacy Brewing Company in Oceanside, California with awesome performances by Josh Heinrichs, Eureka Sound, The Tones, and Dead Kennedy.

The show was sponsored by the cannabis company, Dad’s Elixir and spotlighted the incredible reggae community. More than a dozen artists, both solo artists, and bands, performed in true jam band spirit.

The artists would jam through a full song and then one artist would sub like when a trumpet player came off the stage for a singer. It was so impressive to see how all the artists played in unison.

The Tones’ frontman, Anthony Velador, rocked the house with great performance. We especially enjoyed watching Anthony and the musicians jamming to The Tones’ song, Burn. Anthony had his dog on stage, which was so fun to see!

The musicians seamlessly jumped from one song to the next, often playing a song or songs within a song.

Eureka Sound rocked the house! We loved when they played their new single, Brand New Day. Dread Kennedy came on stage multiple times to sing and played bongos with Eureka Sound.

A few songs into their jam, Josh Heinrichs joined Eureka Sound and played fan favorites like Puff Herbs, Love Is the Answer and Cannabis.

The free show attracted over a hundred reggae fans and it was a blast watching a show with such a cool format.

Dailyreggae.com had the chance to catch up with Josh Heinrichs, David Yun (Eureka Sound), Dread Kennedy, and Wiley Miranda (show’s sound engineer and head of WildCat Studios Escondido). It was so cool hearing the reggae community’s enthusiasm for the show. Several of the artists were heading to perform at today’s Mammoth Reggae Festival.
