Washington, D.C.-based artist, Gede has released a groovy new album titled, “Currents” that we have really been enjoying! Gede takes inspiration from multiple genres including rock, reggae, and electronica! We are very impressed with the album, and are totally vibing with Gede’s unique sound.

What is also really cool about Gede is following the artist’s inspiration to release four albums in four months, which is no easy task! Currents is the third album and follows “Resonance” and “Tides”. Each album is unique and it’s fun listening to Gede’s growing body of work.

At first listen you might not hear the reggae influence, but listen a few times, and you’ll hear the reggae and dub rhythms.

Gede is open to future collaboration with artists in the reggae community.

The Session” by Gede is the Daily Reggae Song of the Day.
