Tempe, Arizona-based heavy hitters Katastro bring their unique genre-melding sound to San Diego's one and only Music Box! The band is touring in support of their new album Sucker released in 2021. The album is a great ride during which Katastro uses groovy rhythms, well-produced beats, catchy melodies, hip hop flows, and instrumentation reminiscent of the legendary band Dirty Heads. Expect them to bring the hype on August 12th!

In support of the show, will be San Clemente band Tunnel Vision, known for their vibing reggae tracks such as their 2019 song Sail Away, and fellow Arizona native band The Irie who just released their debut EP Can't Get Enough.

Droptop is off Katastro's new album Sucker and highlights singer Andy Chavez's talent in writing catchy choruses and his ability to execute hip hop-influenced verses. Guitarist Tanner Riccio provides both mellow rhythm progressions and tasteful riffs to add depth to their songs, and drummer Andrew Stravers along with bassist Ryan Weddle have the groove locked in tight to keep our heads bouncing.
