And the winner of the Daily Reggae Awards: Best Reggae Rock Album is aurorawave.

While punk and reggae have gone together since Sublime, Bad Brains, and The Clash; aurorawave wants to test just how heavy reggae can get.

Formed by frontman Nathan Aurora, he disbanded the popular Iya Terra to start a new band that would explore his love for reggae with his metal roots.

The result is a truly unique mash-up of all your favorite rock genres wrapped into one and we can’t wait to see what they are cooking up next.
