Ballyhoo! and Cydeways rock the house at Music Box SD.

Maryland reggae rock vets Ballyhoo! had long term and new fans singing along and fist pumping to shredding guitars during their set.

The night kicked off with rising Baltimore band, The Harbor Boys.

This was my first time hearing them play and was super impressed!

It was really cool how they make sax one of the stars of the show to go along with their punk rock and reggae flair.

The Harbor Boys showcased grooving guitar and brought really fun energy. It was the band’s first time in California.

They even showed some hip hop vibes mixed with a ska guitar riff.

I really liked their songs Sunday Hangover and Be There.

Cydeways put on one amazing set. For a three piece band, they bring so much energy!
They are able to slow down their tracks but keep it so interesting for concert goers.

During their energetic set, Cydeways played fan favorites like Shadows, Lockdown, Gold, and Wasted Summer.
They are so locked in as a unit and Cydeways ability to blend rock, pop and reggae in one incredible twist is definitely bringing new fans to the reggae scene.

Ballyhoo! played a rad mix of new and old fan favorites throughout their set.

You could feel their fans dedication and loved their t-shirts rocking the band’s impressive longevity since 1995.

Some of my favorite songs from the night were Walk Away, Shellshock, Insomniac and Mixtape!

Ballyhoo! is truly a reggae rock pioneer and it was so cool seeing them shred San Diego!
