Back in the airwaves with a bagful of new songs to show the world it’s no one-hit-wonder, Surfer Girl solidifies its presence with a brand new sophomore album titled, “Noon”.

With over 4.5 million streams on its debut album, Sunrise, since its drop in September of 2022, I’d say there’s a pretty good chance at success for this 13-track LP to make its mark on the charts. There is definitely a vibe to fit a variety of tastes and it’s very clear that creator, Carter Reeves, will not be confined to any one genre.

Carter created Surfer Girl to follow an inner voice musically and I feel compelled to say, I believe his true creative vision can be heard throughout each song in this collection. With fewer features from fellow artists, there’s more room to stretch out and really show people what flavor of “feel good” music he aims to be known for.

Noon will transport you to sunshine filled skies like your kickin’ it at the beach or at a backyard pool party, no matter where you may be. Throughout the album, you can sense a very surfy, pop-rock vibe, nudging you to get your body moving and enjoy the world in front of you!

Disco Dust” is the perfect example of the surf-rock dance inducing tune, with perfectly stitched tempos that build excitement to the very end. It’s an exciting, fast paced shindig from the get-go, urging you to let loose and feel the music.

Looking to really get the party pumping? Queue up “Motion” and watch the dancefloor form out of thin air; pulling in the Jamaican born fusion master, Tessellated, to spice it up to fire status.

Slowing things down a bit, “Feels Right” is a walk in the sand with a sunset at your side, hand in hand with the person you love while ignoring the world. The song tells a great story, suggesting that you just gotta go for it when it feels right!

This whole album is an experience. Reeves drives you down a few different avenues of musical roadways, all with the top down and the salty wind in your hair as the palm trees pass.

It’s great to see the progression and musical exploration Surfer Girl is showcasing in this album, exemplifying what its multifaceted singing, songwriting and producing frontman can compose for us to enjoy. If you haven’t already, give Noon a stream on whichever platform you prefer!
