Setting Out for the Sun” showcases Claire Wright’s creativity, chill vibes, and big time voice.

The 10-track album, released by Ineffable Records, highlights Wright’s talent as a singer-songwriter and beautifully blends pop, rock and reggae in an all around relaxing experience.

The album starts with the inspiring title track, “Setting Out for the Sun” that will motivate you to chase your dream. Wright’s voice shines right away, as do her skills as a guitarist. This is the perfect song to start any road trip, so add it your playlists right away!

Wright reflects on the wild ride we each face and the obstacles in our way in the cleverly written, “Grain of Salt”. Her music gives you a glimpse into her world and I so appreciate it! The beach vibes are strongly felt and Wright’s voice marries the verse and chorus in a magical way.

Speaking of magic, the teaming of Wright and Iration in the song, “New Day” brings so much positive energy. I love the song’s reggae vibe and Wright’s vocals, especially in the hook.

We all need time to lay low and re-set and I love the way Wright brings this feeling to life through the song, “Take It Off”. This would be a really fun one to hear acoustic style during one of her live sets!

More beach vibes and positivity are shared in “Sand Roads”, a gorgeous love song featuring G. Love & Special Sauce. This is a fun one to turn up at your next party!

The depth of Wright’s writing is felt in “Heaven’s Got a Hell of a Beach”. This is one of the album’s stand out tracks and shows the depth of Wright’s pen and voice.

This whole album is such a vibe and Claire Wright has a huge music career ahead. I love her energy, and the inspiring messages she shares. “Someday Somehow” is another great reminder to enjoy the journey and to keep a smile on our face through every wave we face!
